They are well written and follow a natural progression of the subjects, building from the beginning of the school year, advancing to more advanced subject at the end of the grade level. We have made it a tradition to buy the next grade level books every summer, resulting in being more than prepared for class at the start of the year. They also are great for enrichment during the school year on subjects that the student needs a little extra help with. We buy every year. The code takes you to a short, engaging video explaining the activity to be completed. The video moves pieces, makes difficult concepts come to life so students can see how they work. The introductions can be done together with an adult or independently as review. The photos are color and high quality. The quality you for would expect (or better) for the price. Pages are perforated so they can easily be removed or kept in the book depending on preference or need. So many concepts are covered too. Anything you could need for grade 3! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good for homeschoolers... *by J***. on September 29, 2023* I normally make my own curriculum, but we have moved to a smaller space so having 2 subjects in one workbook is very helpful. I like that you can scan a QR code for extra help videos, although we really haven't needed to watch them so far. I scanned a couple just to see what the videos were like and they are short and simple, which is good for an easily distracted 3rd grader. I'm not sure if this will last they whole year, especially since we do year round schooling. I am more concerned about the reading/laguage arts section as it seems to have much less work than the math section. I do really wish there was a test/quiz/review at the end of each chapter. I am thinking I will have to make my own since I normally only give actual grades for tests and just make him correct any wrong answers for daily work. Other then that I am satified with this and it's much more affrdable than many other curriculum.
