**Q: does it come with a template**
A: Yes it does, a clear plastic template is included.  Great product all around.

**Q: Will this work when positioned on the top of a cabinet as opposed to on one of the sides?**
A: Yes, it works just fine like that.  That's exactly how I have mine mounted.  You just have to account for the depth of the fan/how far it will hang down into the cabinet so that it's not hitting anything, the same as you would if it's mounted on the side of the cabinet.

**Q: hi can i use this to make an air conditioner out of a small cooler with a peltier module?**
A: I would say yes although it won’t drive the air too far and I would think you could find a better cost effective system since there are several complete kits on amazon to build what you are trying to piece mill together.
