If you look at the datasheet, i think the term isolation voltage is what you're looking for. Its 2100VAC or 354 VDC. If you're talking about the output voltage, it's ~5VDC. **Q: 30a: 600mv/a per description... v/2+30*.6= 20.5v! is that what this outputs?? other ones suspect too....** A: The output levels in this listing are incorrect for the 20 and 30 units. The 20 amp output is 100mV/Amp. The 30 amp output is 66mV/Amp. **Q: can this device be connected in a 120/240 volt ac citcuit?** A: Yes it can read 110vac or 240vac. **Q: Which current rating is this product? the title and product description don't match. one says 20a (chip: acs712elc-20a ) and the other says 30a .** A: The chip listed in the description is most likely a copy/paste error. All 3 versions list the same chip but show the different current ratings. I ordered the 5A ones and they had the ACS712ELCTR-05B chip. Be aware that because these are analog sensors, you will probably want to use an averaging For loop in your code to use these with, otherwise your values are going to be jumpy. Look up 'ACS712 code' on Google and you will find many Arduino sketches available (I'm using parts from Elecrow's website).My main annoyance is that these do not have any obvious way of screw-mounting, which is important as any connected wires could be taking up to 20 amps- meaning something like 12 gauge wire is used, thick and heavy to impose quite a load on the board.
