I purchased this to power my 12V underwater fishing lights from the dock where the unit is exposed to the elements including salt air, high humidity, rain and direct sunlight. It's been running for 4 months now and there have been no problems. Rated at 100 watts, I'm powering about 50 watts, so I'm not taxing it's load capability. Works as promised, and seems to be holding up in the elements. It's mounted in the open, under a deck, but still exposed directly to driving rain and the salt air in Texas.
