I bought this to remove an oil filter on our new Bad Boy zero turn riding mower. I was unable to fit anything where this filter was located, but thank god for this tool. It fit right where I needed it to and removed the filter no problem. This is a sturdy tool and seems to be pretty durable. I have only used it a few times now with no complaints.

I needed to reach the (not so easily accessible) oil filter on my zero turn mower for it's annual oil change. The Horusdy 12" pliers came with decent reviews, so I thought I'd give them a try. They arrived quickly, and in a sealed plastic bag. I was pleased how well these gripped the filter, as it was very tight. I can't believe how much leverage you need to remove a filter that was installed finger tight, but these worked great. I prefer this style over the strap style filter wrenches. The angled head made it more easily accessible to reach the filter without the handles contacting other areas. I wasn't expecting a professional grade tool due to it's price point, but it easily got the job done, and overall I feel these were well worth price tag.

I’ve used a lot of different oil filter tools, but these 12” adjustable pliers really stand out. The adjustable jaw opens wide enough to handle small and large filters, and the grip feels solid without slipping, even when the filter is oily. The orange handles have a comfortable rubber coating, which makes it easier on your hands if you’re working in tight spaces. I used it on my “2008 Nissan Armada , Acura tl and Honda accord. it removed the old filter without damaging it. The adjustment mechanism moves smoothly, and the teeth bite firmly on the filter without tearing it. Overall, this is a well-made and durable tool that’s great for home mechanics. It feels like something you’d find in a professional shop for a fraction of the price. Definitely recommend it if you do your own oil changes.
