Its flexible, waterproof silicone formula resists oil, water, antifreeze, and aging without hardening or cracking, making it ideal for all engine gasket applications. ## Description

Versachem Mega Black Silicone is a high performance, moisture curing gasketing material that cures into a strong, silicone rubber to make formed-in-place gaskets. Maintains long term durability and flexibility, and will not harden, shrink or crack. Forms a tough, flexible silicone rubber gasket that resists aging and weathering. Works best on silicone, cork, felt and rubber gaskets. This black, waterproof, low odor formula is non-corrosive to steel, iron and aluminum, oxygen sensor safe, low volatile, non-toxic, non-flammable and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) approved. Tensile strength of 240 PSI, and temperature range of -65F to 400F (continuous); -65F to 650F (intermittent).

Review: A great product. - If other sealants didn’t work, try this product. The product works just as claimed. Every shop should have this on hand.
Review: 100% Worth It. - Mega Black. This is the only material you should be using for gaskets in the engine at lower temperatures. Absolutely hands down better than Ultra Black. I use it in transmissions, engine rebuilds, the air intake, and even when I broke off the rubber bumper on the door of the trailer I could glue it back on with this. Hasn't moved since! It even works for waterproofing RC components. I love the 12-pack here, the sheer volume works to have more on hand. Just be aware the known shelf life is 6 months. It was about half the price of anywhere else I could get it though, so I've been giving away as much as I use and appreciating the same price.

Mega Black. This is the only material you should be using for gaskets in the engine at lower temperatures. Absolutely hands down better than Ultra Black.
