I only see a little opening on the cover, for the middle of the pole only. And, what is the velcro for?** A: Hi there, There is a small "slit" near the bottom on both sides to insert the poles. There is no velcro. **Q: What do you do after you take it off? Does it just drip everywhere in your car?** A: Hi there, Once you remove your FrostGuard, shake off the ice/snow, roll it up, and place it in the FrostGuard storage pouch (included with purchase) when you're on the go. I would recommend letting it air out when you have time! **Q: Does this also come with the quick dry storage pouch?** A: Hi there, Yes it does! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Qualité *by A***E on 7 December 2025* L'article est bien. Cependant pour ma toyota venza 2012, la longueur est un peu petite. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Size perfect *by B***N on 20 March 2024* I bought this for a F150 and the fit was perfect along with the quality. I've had several Frost Gaurd's in the past but I bought a different less expensive one before this one thinking I would save some $ what a disappointed as the strap broke off on the first install. Definitely would buy Frost Guard again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super easy to use *by K***S on 4 March 2023* I've had one of the original FrostGuards with stretchy materials for our SUV for years. Sadly my wife managed to destroy it one night after it rained and then froze and the stretchy cords that wrapped around the mirrors broke from being frozen. So I bought three new ones for all the cars in our family, a coupe with no window frame, a medium size SUV and a small sedan. These are a snap to install now since they just go in the door frame and you close the door over them. I was a bit concerned about the one I got for my coupe since it has no window frame and the window actually slides up about half an inch to seal the window after the door closes but it seemed like that last little bit made mine seal up fairlly well. It slips a bit more in high winds than my wife and son's cars do but it's fine. The side mirror bags are ok, they cinch into place but the only car they're useful on is my son's as he's the only one that doesn't have heated side mirrors. He had no issues with them on his car even during a heavy frost and appreciated not having to spray down his mirrors with ice remover since scraping doesn't work real well on side mirrors. Once they're in place, they're in place. As long as you put the windshield wipers over the bottom they're not moving. The first time I used mine it was during 50mph winds and it stayed in place just fine with a little bit of movement but not significant. It still kept the windshield clean and saved me a lot of time from scraping. Well worth the little bit of money spent and the fabric is very durable. It was frozen solid the first time I used it and thawed out just fine and rolled back up easily. Get one, you won't regret it. ## Frequently Bought Together - FrostGuard Plus Winter Windshield Cover with Built-in Security Panels and Wiper Blade Coverage + Mirror Covers - Weather Resistant; Protects from Snow, Ice and Frost (Black, Standard) - FrostGuard Rear Windshield Cover for Ice and Snow, for Sedans - Rear Window Cover to Reduce Scraping, with Elastic to Conform to Vehicle's Shape - Secure Hooks for A Tight Fit - Black, 50 x 32 Inches --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/347282024-frostguard-plus-winter-windshield-mirror-covers-weather-resistant-security-panels](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/347282024-frostguard-plus-winter-windshield-mirror-covers-weather-resistant-security-panels) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
