Is it possible to install a hood? What size lens cap does the VND filter correspond to?** A: This VND filter cannot be used with a lens hood. The VND filter can be installed with a lens cap, but the lens cap needs to be one size larger than the VND filter. (For example: a 67mm variable ND filter requires a 72mm lens cap) **Q: 2. Whether there will be a black cross** A: When using the ND filter to the maximum(ND400) or bigger degree density, it will appear X spot or a blur in the picture, this is a normal phenomenon. Suggestion: Lower the density value gradually and reduce the aperture, until the facula disappeared. **Q: 3. Does vignetting occur when shooting?** A: Taking pictures: There is vignetting up to 18mm, and it is recommended to use 19mm or later. Taking videos: There is slight vignetting at 16mm, and it is recommended to use 17mm or later. **Q: 4. Can I layer other filters when using the Variable VND?** A: It can be superimposed. If stacking other filters behind an adjustable filter, it needs to be one size larger. E.g., 67mm adjustable ND filter, other filters require 72mm. **Q: 5. What are the differences between the K series, D series, and X series?** A: The K series has 18 layers of coating and non-HD. The D series has 24 layers of coating and HD. And the X series has 28 layers of coating and HD, as well as being easy to clean and having a high anti-scratch rating. ## Frequently Bought Together - K&F Concept 72mm Putter Variable ND Filter ND2-ND400 (1-9 Stops) 28 Multi-Layer Coatings Import AGC Glass Adjustable Neutral Density Filter for Camera Lens (Nano-X Series) - K&F Concept 72mm Circular Polarizers Filter Polarizing Filter 28 Multi-Layer Coated Super Slim High Definition CPL Lens Filter (Nano-X Series) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/346338914-k-and-f-concept-72mm-variable-nd-filter-nd2-400](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/346338914-k-and-f-concept-72mm-variable-nd-filter-nd2-400) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
