The Cokin WP-H400-03 Black & White Kit is a professional-grade set of four multi-coated colored filters (Yellow, Orange, Red, Green) designed to enhance contrast and tonal separation in black and white photography. Compatible with Cokin P-Series 84x84mm filter holders, this lightweight 79-gram kit offers photographers precise creative control to craft striking monochrome images with superior optical quality.

## Description

The Black & white filter kit includes: yellow (001) orange(002) red (003) green (004) 4 - filter cases Black & white filters give photographers the creative freedom to control contrast in an image for creative effect. The RED filter will turn blue skies (complimentary color) almost black creating dramatic contrast between the sky and clouds. Use the same red filter when photographing a red rose (analogous color) and the rose will look almost white. Yellow is used by portrait photographers because it lightens skin and reduces the appearance of freckles and blemishes. While this kit is a must for Film photographers, many digital shooters will use these filters to shoot Black and white in raw so that they can see the result in the field then make fine-tuned adjustments when post processing.

A: these are standard 100mm sq filters

**Q: Is the red filter a #25?**
A: this is a standard filter set for black and white photography. It is not a 25 red which is used in infrared.

**Q: will it fit the Haida 85 mm x 95 mm N.D. Filter?**
A: Your question is confusing as you ask about a filter, not the holder. This filter set in 85mm will fit any 85mm, square filter holder. Cokin started with the A series 67mm square, then later started the P series 85mm square, then the Z series 100mm square. I use my set in a format Hitech filter system.

**Q: Are these glass or plastic?**
A: I believe they are polycarbonate, a very hard and durable plastic. I’ve had mine over a year now, use them regularly, I’ve had no issues.
