I love automatic watches, no batteries just movement, plus this watch being skeletonized you can see the mechanics of the watch & can actually see the spring inside & see when it's almost about to die, all in a I absolutely love this watch & that's why I bought the rectangular version of this watch as well. **Q: does it have illuminated ?** A: No it isn't illuminated. **Q: Does the second hand tick or is it a smooth motion?** A: This style is a sweep second and will have 4 ticks per second.
