NEATLY FINISHED. *by A***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 September 2023* Appearance is very crisp and fresh and the material makes it very easy to launder at 30°C on a gentle cycle in the washing machine, and a quick smooth with a very cool iron has them just like new. I own cream ones which I have had for over 25 years. They were made in Northern Ireland and are still looking as fresh as when they were new. They are however, denser and have a more smooth, satiny finish than these. Any minor stains can be rendered invisible whilst still on the table, by giving a slight rub with a finger inside a dampened dishcloth which has been gently rubbed over a bar of white bathroom soap. This has worked on minor splashes of tomato sauce, gravy and even fat splashes, if done immediately, and the damp patch dries clean. I believe that the same result can be achieved with these tablecloths as they are of the same man-made fibre. I bought two of these as gifts for my family in Canada who have one and wanted another larger one. Their neighbours had seen a beautiful one which we had sent to them as a gift very many years ago and they had admired it so much that we bought another one for them. We took them with us in our cases when we visited this year and borh families were delighted.
