Offering yet another use for the versatile Flex light, the Flex Drum Softbox from Westcott employs your 1 x 2' or 1 x 3' LED mat as a light source to fill a cylindrical drum made of 1-1/4 stop diffusion fabric, creating a pool of soft light for overhead use. The drum comes with a black curtain that attaches to a portion of it for a soft slightly directional look or you can remove the curtain for 360-degree output to light a large area or to fill in shadows. The Flex Drum has a collapsible design that allows it to fold down to a fraction of its open size and comes with an adjustable mounting strap and a case.
