The semi-reflective mirror-like finish offers a striking visual edge, while exclusive Level 360 technology guarantees perfect drum shell contact for easier tuning and extended pitch range. Engineered for rock, metal, and progressive drummers who demand durability, punchy attack, and a bold aesthetic. ## Description Evans Black Chrome drum heads are ideal for the Rock/Metal/Progressive drummer who hits hard, plays fast and desires a new, attractive aesthetic with a punchy tone. Featuring a two-ply construction with a ply of 7mil optically clear film over a 7.5mil black film, Evans Black Chrome provides strong durability combined with a sleek mirror-like appearance and a robust tone. The combination of opposing films (two different types and thicknesses) shortens sustain and provides an accentuated mid-to-low frequency response. Evans Level 360 technology is incorporated to extend the level playing surface of the drumhead, 360 degrees around the drum. The vertically enhanced collar design guarantees even contact with the critical bearing edge of the drum shell, resulting in: ease of tuning, extended pitch range and optimum quality of sound. Evans Level 360 collar resolves the age-old dilemma of traditional synthetic heads consistently not fitting the drum shell without using considerable force. Review: Five Stars - excellent product recommend! Review: Excellent drum heads by Evans - I purchased these to fit on my Tama Swingstar fusion kit which has 10” 12” and 14” toms. They arrived in great condition and tune very easily. I installed them in around 15-20 mins total and had them ready to go for a gig. The sound was excellent with a good balance of attack and not too much sustain. Multiple people commented including another drummer how great the toms sounded with these heads installed during the show. The heads seem well made, good quality and feel like they will last well as expected with Evans Heads. Only real downside is you do get stick-marks very quickly, but drumheads are made for playing/listening, not just looking at! If you’re looking for some drumheads that have a nice tone, reasonable attack, durable with a low-mid sustain level I would hit these up in an instant. ## Features - Includes 3 Drum Heads - Semi-reflective mirror-like appearance - Opposing films for shorter sustain and accentuated mid/low frequency response - Uncoated for maximum attack and aesthetic characteristics - Exclusive Level 360 Technology collar design ensures proper contact between drum head and drum shell ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #105,016 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #303 in Drum Set Tom-Tom Drumheads | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 16 Reviews | ## Images ![Black Chrome Tompack 10", 12", 14" - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61wJUJ4YEYS.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by D***O on November 15, 2017* excellent product recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent drum heads by Evans *by D***N on November 12, 2024* I purchased these to fit on my Tama Swingstar fusion kit which has 10” 12” and 14” toms.
