Review: Direct replacement for my BCPA10. - This is my second Boss. I had the BCPA 10. I do lots of forest service roads in my rv and the screen would black out intermittently. But for the price i was very happy after 4 years. So i bought the 9. I love the wireless appleplay and the screen seems crisper. So far i am super happy with it.

I chose this unit because it would enable me to use my mobile phone hands free, and because it would enable me use map feature for navigation. It also enabled me to update the truck with a back up camera to help in tight spaces. I chose this unit because the swivel mounted screen enables me to tilt the screen for better visibility from the driver's seat. I enjoy the auto darkening of the screen for night operations, the radio functions quite well also. Great value for the amount I paid. I have had it in my truck for about a year now. I would say that the installation is best done by someone with soldering skills and the ability to locate and read a vehicle wiring diagram, so I would not recommend for beginners.

A: No wired only

A: You can always check crutchfield and they will tell you but it should fit. It is a single din stereo but if you’re is a double din then you can get a double din dash kit

**Q: Will it charge my I phone ?**
A: As long as you plug your cord into the back of the radio during installation. I snaked my cord down and had it pop out between the driver seas and the center console.

It was good for a year or so but now it constantly crashes, kicks me off CarPlay and turns itself on and off. Sometimes when you get in you have to turn it off and back on just to get it to connect to your phone. If you forget and start driving you have to pull over to restart your vehicle to reboot it for it to maybe work. Product support was no help. I would recommend saving your money and getting a better brand. 1 star because it works sometimes, and because i couldn’t make it less.
