I really don’t appreciate the company’s shifty tactics when it came to the fake BF sale and them ignored my attempts to contact them. As for the machine, it is okay. Installation is simple, though the machine is a tad wobbly despite the screws being wrenched in tightly. I have a hard time believing that anyone would use the resistance on the lower settings and the high setting doesn’t offer much resistance. I think it’s good for the price point, especially if you’re extremely out of shape, but this might not be for you if you’re not a beginner and you want a really good workout. Also, for whatever reason, I have to keep resetting the resistance every time I use it. I have to set it to low resistance, take a few steps and then set it to high resistance. For me personally there’s basically only one resistance setting because the overall resistance is so low. BUT it is effectively only $400 (I’ve never seen it without the $100 coupon) and I’m not expecting it to be able to compete with a $2,000 machine. It definitely is “whisper quiet” and can easily fit in a small apartment. If this is your price point then I don’t think you’ll be particularly disappointed unless your expectations are unrealistic for an effectively $400 elliptical machine.
