**Q: How durable is the Acme 635 whistle? It looks like it would break somebody sat or stepped on it.**
A: I do not know how strong the whistle is, but I had it twice  blown out of my hand by short distance ball kicks and nothing happened to it - my hand was sore for days. I am a high school soccer ref; I had another Acme Tornado 635 for over 14 years and it worked well, until I left it behind on a field, so I bought a new one.

**Q: How durable is the Acme 635 whistle? It looks like it would break somebody sat or stepped on it.**
A: As a volleyball official, the whistle is in my mouth most of the match. I've been able to get a good 18 months usage out of the whistle before they start chipping from  biting down on  them.

**Q: How loud is it compared to other whistles? I would like to use in case if my dog gets lost, will she be able to hear it well if she does get lost ?**
A: Yes

A: Not sure what you mean by, 'This is ready?' If you are asking about the color, then the whistle is blue unlike the picture that shows red.
