My grandchildren are 2 and 3 and they still get excited to see the pictures project on the ceiling. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Science Can Solar System is good but could be better *by M***T on 29 December 2025* The Science Can Solar System is good but could be better. We purchased the product for our 4 year old son who is really into space at the moment and wants to know more about planets. The SCSS is easy to assemble out of the box, you just need to add your own batteries. The plastic planets are easy to identify and the light projector on top is probably the highlight of the product with clear images covering a range of space interests. I'd say the two things that let the product down, is the English commentary that's built into the product when you press on a planet for more information, and the lack of movement of the planets on the solar system itself. The English accent does not appear to have been recorded by a native English speaker and so some of the words are perhaps not clear for a child to interpret. The lack of automated movement of the planets is a real disappointment, but I know this would probably mean the price of the product would need to change too. So overall, good with plenty of room for improvement.
