We've used it on pressurized fuel tanks too. Fixed punctures, even cracked threaded connection collars. This is the best epoxy we've ever seen. The key is all in the prep work, using 80 grit as instructed. Once the plastic is sanded and prepped, for added strength it advises "curing" the plastic before applying epoxy by heating that sanded plastic area with a torch (flame). Clearly this step can be dangerous, do only if it's an empty aired out tank. Otherwise skip this step. Prep, prep, prep is the key. **Q: does it work with wood?** A: Yes, but the regular epoxy works very well with wood and is less expensive.
