A: Not certain. I bought it because of the new look ( knurled handle).

A: If  you purchased a ML50L 2cell previously, the only difference is the LX model is a Matte Finish, which cost a little more to manufacture.  But everything else is the same.  Thank you,

A: It’s a little difficult to measure precisely, but as close as I can determine, it’s 42mm.

**Q: Does this have the strobe amd low setting stuff?**
A: The Maglite ML50LX has 3 levels of brightness and a strobe.
