The item does not tilt entirely to be pressed against a ceiling. **Q: Can you hang from attic ceiling?** A: We did not install in an attic ceiling, but did install by first installing a beam between 2 studs and then attaching the TV mount to the added beam. We did it for the purpose of having the TV centered in a space that was not where there was a stud, but I am sure this method could be used for any situation. **Q: Will this mount work for a vesa 300mm x 200mm? i don't see this particular vesa measurement listed in the specs. have an oled lg c9 65"** A: The sliding horizontal brackets and slotted vertical screw holes should accommodate any mounts within the minimum and maximum dimensions. **Q: Will the top of the mount tilt to 90 degrees for wall mounting. I need to mount above a drop celing, with the pipe coming down 1" off the wall** A: Most definitely yes. The two holes you see beyond the 60 degree arch slot are used for the non-adjustable 90 degree position. So you would need to remove the cross bolt and move it to either of the upper or lower hole you see beyond that slot. It's adjustable within the 60 degree arch but fixed at the 90 deg.
