With its iconic design, the large VW logo on the front and the classic red and white colour scheme, this classic car is ready to embark on any adventure in your child's playroom. Just like the original from the 50s and 60s, the toy car from PLAYMOBIL delights with its attention to detail, including, bench seats in the typical check pattern, a mini-kitchen with folding table and a fold-down rear seat. Just strap your suitcase to the roof rack and you're ready to go! The two PLAYMOBIL figures in full hippie clothing ensure authentic fun, endless road trips and of course pure collecting pleasure for fans of the iconic car. True to the originals, the iconic Volkswagen cars are now available from the PLAYMOBIL range. Whether as a collectible Volkswagen model car to display in your display cabinet or as an original gift for loyal VW enthusiasts, the legendary T1 bus and classic Beetle are an absolutely delight! Cool functions, numerous extras and, above all, amazing detail inspire children and adults alike as they embark on numerous adventures with the PLAYMOBIL Volkswagen range. Get in, buckle up, and off we go! At first glance, the red and white van is a sight to behold. But, of course, the iconic car can do more than just look cool. If you remove the roof, up to 5 PLAYMOBIL figures can be seated in the interior. The figures in front and on the seat behind the driver can also be fixed with a foot or hand clamp. This time around the hippie couple is out and about. The two of them have just finished the first leg of their journey and are in desperate need of a break. In no time at all, they can fold down the rear bench seat, creating a bed for two. The van impresses with other cool details and functions such as the table between the benches that can be swivelled upwards to create the perfect mini-kitchen together with the built-in sink and refrigerator. In addition, all utensils are easily stowed in the two accessible side doors of the camper. While one door acts as a shelf for groceries, a mirror and a shelf are integrated in the other door. Everything that doesn't fit in the many storage compartments is simply packed on the roof rack and fixed with the two straps. The toy figure set for the PLAYMOBIL Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus comes with a wide range of accessories, perfect for adventurous road trips, including: pillows, drinks and snacks. So that there are no unpleasant surprises along the way, the boot can be opened to take a look at the engine. And I knew he'd mostly love just pushing it around anyway. Straight out of the box I appreciated how deep a red the chassis was, it really adds to the overall product that it's not a half washed out colour that you on see on plastics. It assembled very easily and in no time he was taking the roof off, putting the people in and – most importantly – making engine noises driving it around! The build quality is excellent, with the interior and exterior finished so well. It's a great hit of nostalgia. He loves it and it makes me want the real thing! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's great *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 November 2023* Bought this for my grandson for Christmas it's great it's a size good quality is good sturdy piece a bit tricky to put together takes a while. I suggest doing what I do, and that's make it up put the stickers on and put it back in the box and it's ready to go great gift for child would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Love This *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 February 2023* This is an amazing toy/model! As a model collector & special fan of VW i got the playmobile yellow Beetle & quickly ordered this also. The size ratio is correct and the size of the models is generous. you get loads of extras. the quality is great - colour is vibrant red - snaps together perfectly. .Although it is suitable for children - no children will get near mine! ## Frequently Bought Together - Playmobil Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus - Playmobil Volkswagen Beetle - Playmobil Ambulance with Accessories and 3 Figures --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/266516653-70176-volkswagen-t1-camping-bus](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/266516653-70176-volkswagen-t1-camping-bus) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
