**Q: I have damaged my ankle due to rolling it too many times, is this ideal to use as cast to help ease pain from swelling caused by climate changes?**
A: My daughter also rolled her ankle too many times (had one ankle reconstructed at 19).  This is the device the doctor prescribed both before and after surgery.  I don't know if it will help with climate change, necessarily, but it helped her walk without too much pain prior to the surgery and kept her protected once she could take off the big ankle boot from surgery.

**Q: How does the brace hold the arch? I have chronicle ankle instability and an accessory navicular bone (conflicting problems), but I want to jog again..**
A: I do not feel any degree of arch support from this brace.  That said, I enjoy the stability it offers the ankle.

**Q: Does this product contain any hard plastic?**
A: Yes, there are plastic stays in the ankle for support.

**Q: I have heavy legs/ankles.  Would this fit me?**
A: It's pretty tight putting it on especially around the foot. I don't have swollen leg or anckle.

Extremely effective and comfortable. Wearing a shoe over it is very easy. But, surprisingly difficult to obtain a brace for the "left foot". The entire website contained the brace for the "right foot" only. Took me a week of searching before i got lucky.

I severely sprained my left ankle in September of 2016 & it didn't heal right. After seeing my doctor 15 months later he asked that I use a sturdy brace until my MRI was done & results were in. LOVE this brace!!! VERY EASY to take on and off. Solid, rigid stays keep ankle from rolling. It fit in all my shoes though it is a tad bulky. This brace kept me from further injuring my ankle/foot. Turns out I have stretched some ligaments, torn some tendons & have severe tendinitis & tendosynovitis in a couple of my tendons as well. That landed me in a walking boot. I recently went on vacation & had scheduled some hiking. Needless to say the walking boot wasn't going to happen. I wore this brace on 3 different hike/walk days. WOW!!! Excellent support over rugged terrain. Despite the fact this brace covers a lot of the ankle it was surprisingly cool (was hiking in 85 degree weather). HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
