## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many train cars can this pull and does it go up hills well?**
A: 5? My son lines up 10 or more rail cars behind it and this engine chugs along just fine. Going uphill with more than five cars, it only struggles because it's front end is too light so the front wheels lift off the tracks when pulling ten cars up a slope. If you gently hold the front down, it has enough power to pull the train - so issue with traction, not power :)

**Q: This engine does not move forward or backward consistently. Does anyone know why?**
A: The one I purchased for my grandson works fine and has no problems with running forward or backward.  I would contact the seller and see if you can return it for credit and replacement.

**Q: Can this be used with the train boxes that come with the Brio starter train set? Do all Brio trains come with magnets?**
A: Brio train cars and engines connect with magnets. If train boxes and box cars are the same thing, yes. We use this engine with and without tracks on a smooth hard floor, the drive wheels are rubber. There is no front end magnet, so this must be the lead engine. Loads of fun.

**Q: Will this train work on Hape tracks?**
A: Yes. I have a mix of Brio and Hape tracks and it has no problem with either.

It is way too expensive for a palm's length toy engine better buy other brands only good point is it is exact match for IKEA TRAIN TRACKS (wooden ones) BTW ikea's battery operated engine is less than half price
