The Kestrel 5700 Elite employs the Applied Ballistics bullet library of custom drag models, an exact measurement of your bullet’s drag profile plus corrections for Aerodynamic Jump, Spin Drift, Coriolis, and Drop Scale Factoring to achieve accurate extended long-range shots. On top of employing a G1/G7 ballistic solver, this meter offers other features including a customizable Target Card, an expanded Ballistics Data Table, and storage for up to 30 gun/bullet profiles and 10 saved targets. This meter offers a large, high-resolution and contrast display with ease of font readability. It also includes a built-in dual color backlight (white or red), extra-strong polycarbonate lens, AA battery operation and optional LiNK iOS and Android wireless connectivity and app support. The 5700 Elite works with any gun or scope offering solution units in Mils, MOA, Clicks, Inches or Centimeters. The Environmental Capture measures and adjusts for real-time conditions and automatically updates the ballistic solution - eliminating the need to re-zero when moving to a different altitude. The Muzzle Velocity Calibration Guide allows for accurate bullet speed without a chronograph. Like all Kestrel meters, the Kestrel 5700 Elite is drop-proof, dust-proof, waterproof and able to withstand harsh environments without damage – so it can accompany you to the range, hunt, match, deployment or engagement for years to come. Weather mode offers full environmental measurements with storage and charting capabilities including wind speed, direction, temperature, humidity, and pressure. ## Features - Employs the Applied Ballistics bullet library of custom drag models, an exact measurement of your bullet’s drag profile plus corrections for Aerodynamic Jump, Spin Drift, Coriolis, and Drop Scale Factoring to achieve accurate long-range shots - Measure up to 15 environmental parameters at your fingertips - Improved high resolution screen for any lighting (even sunlight) and easy on your eyes; Intuitive user-interface screen navigation - Scratch and breakage-resistant window - Includes LiNK connectivity powered by Bluetooth low energy provides wireless communication to mobile devices and computers ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Additional Features | Portable | | Asin | B017AF1V3W | | Best Sellers Rank | #106,488 in Sports & Outdoors (See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors) #7 in Weather Monitors | | Brand Name | Kestrel Ballistics | | Color | Black | | Connectivity Technology | Bluetooth | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (365) 4.8 out of 5 stars | | Display Type | LCD | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00730650002689 | | Included Components | LiNK Dongle | | Is Used Where | Outdoor | | Item Highlight | With Applied Ballistics and LiNK, Black | | Item Weight | 0.03 kg | | Manufacturer | NK Kestrel | | Material Type | Plastic, Polycarbonate | | Model | OB-KEST-0857ALBLK | | Number Of Batteries | 1 AA batteries required.
