The original paint had chipped off in spots and light was shining through. I found the pen paint a little thin. I had to do 3 coats to get the result I needed, but application of the paint was precise and dried quickly. I suppose that the paint has to be thinner in order to flow through the tip so I should have expected what I got. Overall the pen did a great job and is a good concept. I'm glad I got it. Worked out better than a brush.
