Couple of minutes you have a yarn cake. Just lift it off and the middle closes in. I push the yarn wrapper in the middle. So easy to use. Doesn't wobble when you use it. Can hold 100g dk, 100g Aran. 100g chunky. It doesn't get caught up underneath like some do. Highly recommend this product if you are into knitting

I'm addicted to using this device. Very quick and simple to set up and use. The only advice I'd give is to add a little tension while winding. I had my daughter wind while I held the yarn being fed. Not doing so created a loose, rather saggy yarn cake. The added tension created a tighter form and because, as you slide the cake off the holder, the centre closes, it means you do not have to worry about stretching the yarn. Added benefits to this order were the two sets of crochet hooks. I'm unlikely to use the tiny lace sizes but the plastic handled larger, every-day sizes could be used as back-up. I'm very happy with my yarn winder, highly recommend it to anyone.
