Lives up to specifications. Easy to use but no flashlight. Ideal phone for a pre-teen to get used to a KWERTY keypad before moving onto a smartphone.

I hope this phone turns out to be what I expect. I will not know until after Xmas Day. It is of course a present.

OK if you want a QWERTY keyboard for txt messages - 2G only
I made the mistake of entering "Nokia 205 review" into Google to check out the reviews - but the reviews were of a variant that had a feature I needed - it takes 2 sims.Except this is the variant that doesn't. They both have the name "Nokia 205" - so be warned if you are hoping for the dual sim version, this isn't it! OK, on re-reading the spec, this version doesn't say it takes two sims, but I missed that. My mistake. As a feature phone, it's so-so. Unfortunately it doesn't work with Three, as is a 2G only phone. Currently Three have the cheapest PAYG mobile internet (1p per MB), and does not expire monthly, so would have been ideal for email etc.Don't use for Facebook, internet etc - 2G is just too slow (and costly). If you want to use Facebook, Internet, Email etc, on a budget, the best way is a cheap Android mobile e.g. Samsung S5360 Galaxy Y Sim Free Mobile Phone - Metallic Gray and couple it with Three's 321 PAYG package (but of course, you lose the long battery life). The camera is laughable. In its favour though, the keys are well spaced, and easy to get used to for fast text messages. The battery life is as with old phones - essentially a month on standby.I've decided to go for the Nokia 112 (currently available elsewhere) which has an even larger battery, dual sim, but not query. Nokia 112 SIM free Dual SIM mobile phone, Grey
