A: Our grandson is 10 and we got the 5-8.  I think the smaller size would be best for you....and they are adjustable.

A: my son is 5 and wears an 11-12 shoe. If these are not recommended for beginner skates can someone please let me know what they liked better?

A: Yes if she is a little kids 14 this would be perfect with heavy socks. The next size down is too small I made that mistake as my daughter is in a 13. I had to send them back
