Turbo-Tent
When I found this tent marked-down, that was the kikker that pushed me over the edge and I bought the BlackPine 10X8.5 Frestander Turbo Tent. I'd watched set-up videos, read customer accounts and was expecting a lot and especially one easy set-up and was not disappointed. Right out of the box and remembering the videos; I did exactly as instructed and it went right up to rave reviews from my jealous fellow-tent-campers.Pros:- Looks great!- Made from high-end materials- Easy to set up and take down.- Zippered tent storage bag is large and fits everything into it withought stuffing.- Used in a heavy rain storm and it didn't leak.- Nice colorCons:- If you plan to erect it where the ground is very hard and stakes are not easily driven in, your set-up tent will not be very stable. Best to set up where you can easily pound in the stakes completely.- It would be nice if it had a window in the back.I will use this tent a lot and should I ever decide to replace it, I would be hard-pressed to not buy another Turbo Tent.

Not worth the Money!! Have had to repair awning twice, one bent pole, & pole connector for center hub & parts are EXPENSIVE!!
Bought it thinking it would be well worth the money for a 4 season tent & quick set up for those weekends you just want to head up camping!! It is easy to set up but simply not the quality I expected for regular use and especially for the cost (paid $600)The 2nd outing we got surprised with snow while in Yellowstone National Park, we were buried in 12" of snow! There was a broken awning pole & bent tent poles. It took a month of back & forth with Black Pine, sending pictures and arranging payment for them to ship replacement poles. Finally got replacement poles for $50 at the end of camping season for Wyoming. Only used twice that season for a few days each. The next season pulled it out and replaced poles, but the awning pole sent was the wrong one. Tried to email Black Pine, but no response. ordered online for another $30.Set it up to check everything for a trip this week. Today we got a Wyoming wind gust and it broke the awning pole again, and one of the pole connectors on the center hub.So now I get to decide whether to trash a $600 tent or "invest" even More money into it in order to use it!!We've only used it on about 4 trips each 3-7 days the screens on the door & windows are starting to snag and rip and the zippers are often very tough to open and close. It has been far from abused and we haven't used it anywhere near as much as other tents we've purchased for A Lot Less Money (<$100) and used for far more than two seasons!!For us the expensive inital investment & cost of replacement parts simply IS NOT worth the easy set up!!!

Love this tent
Love this tent! Easiest tent to put up any take down. And, it fit back in the bag no problem! The poles are very sturdy! Not flimsy cheap plastic knuckles like others we looked at! My daughter has the canvas version of this tent & we we sold! We just couldn't justify over $1000 for a tent! So, we chose this one & we love it!! Well worth the couple extra hundred over the "others" we considered. Hopefully the last tent we buy for a long time!! I will say that I was a little bummed that the plastic hook ( for hanging a lantern) in the center was broken off! But honestly there is still a tab there that I can hook something to. Wasn't worth "docking" a star!!

Great Tent
Fantastic Tent. Originally ordered the 4 person, (8 x 8 ft), thinking the smaller footprint would guarantee one person set up. Received the 8 x 8 and was so impressed by the quality of the materials and workmanship. Worth every penny. Also, the tent was so... easy to put up. I wanted to see if the larger 10 x 10 would also be that easy. So I ordered the 6 person, 10 x 10, and yes, it was the same, super, high quality tent, and unbelievably easy to erect. Set them up side by side in my driveway to make a final decision on which one to keep. Went with the 10 by 10. The extra square footage will be great for longer trips. I web searched and read many reviews on various tents before deciding to try the Black Pine Turbo Tent.So pleased with this product.

Missing Items
I like the product and it looks like it's made well, however, it came to me with a missing rainfly grommet and I had to return the item. Poor Quality control and this should have been caught by the QC department. We were going camping the coming weekend when we received our tent and I had to pay for overnight shipment through Amazon to get a replacement in time for our trip, which I feel Amazon should have offered this service for free since I received a faulty product. I will update my comments when I receive a replacement and have a chance to actually use it on a few camping trips.BlackPine- 8 x 7 4-Person Freestander Turbo Tent

Very easy to assemble with nod person
Very easy to assemble with nod person. Lots of head room with the 7' ceiling height. It's time consuming fitting back into the bag after tear down. It appears to be made to handle extreme weather, but I found a few flawed. Overall, would recommend.

By far the best tent I had ever owned or seen in the field.
By far the best tent I had ever owned or seen in the field. It's massive aluminum structure makes it feel indestructible. It stands very well when it gets windy - better than any other tent I've owned or seen.Although the instructions say clearly to not fold it down with the rainfly attached - it is possible and makes setting it up a real breeze. The way to fold it down with the rainfly attached is to untighten the tension straps at each corner first and locate the tie-around strap and then fold it down - don't worry it still fits well in the bag.

Quality Tent
Well made quality tent. Easy to put up and take down. Is heavy, so don't plan on carrying this too far.
