Q: Where is this chair manufactured?

Judging on the size of the top of the stool it was made in China or Malaysia, it's smaller than any other stool I've ever bought and the back of the stool is not adjustable

Q: Why does the gray stool have a thinner cushion listed than the other colors? Is it an older model?

This chair seat weak and it broke the first day but I took the seat apart and replaced the plywood now it perfect.
