**Q: Sarna sensitive and the original have different ingredients, what is the difference? Which works better for itching?**
A: I believe the sensitive is fragrance free and the original has a very heavy, sweet sent (to me).  I prefer the sensitive.  The lotion is really the same.

**Q: I'm 70 with itchy back. Will this work? Does it smell?**
A: Yes, this formula is fragranced as it contains menthol, an ingredient used to cool and soothe the skin. Our Sarna Sensitive Lotion, however, is fragrance-free and works to numb itch as well, using pramoxine hydrochloride.

**Q: should be refrigerated?**
A: We have never refrigerated it.

**Q: Any tips to get pump to release?**
A: Do not remove pump. Ensure top is screwed on tight, use one hand to hold the cap from moving, then push down on plunger with other hand and turn counter clockwise. After about a half turn, you will hear a slight release of air and the plunger will pop up.

Stops the itching and provides a cooling sensation on the skin when applied. I use this lotion faithfully and take it with me when traveling. I've been using this lotion for years. It works great when my skin is dry and itchy. Whenever I am in the sun for more than 2 hours, with sunscreen on, hats etc, I get horrible itchy heat rashes on neck, arms. I bought this product by chance to try it. This product feels so soothing, maybe a little burning, cooling sensation. But after the cooling sensation goes away, all itching stops immediately. I spent days by the pool and beach for our week vacation. After shower, towel dry, I applied this product from Neck to feet exposed by sun. Immediately soothing, slight burning, cooling sensation. All itching stopped. My 7 year old daughter, when applied on her, she cried, she said it was burning for her, I applied a generous amount. The other time I applied on her I used a little, let it soak in for 5 mins, then applied regular body lotion, she said it was better, slight burn but no crying, no itching on her. For myself, I applied generously. I will definitely buy this again. I didn't apply to face, I use the cortizone for any face heat rashes. The cooling sensation will definitely burn eyes, so NO FACE application of the SARNA lotion.
