Very good Book on the 15th Air Force
There are few books on the 15th. This one has numerous photos and contains a lot of information as to specific aircraft and crews, its interesting. It does not start with the formation if the 15th but is more highlights. However, the photographs alone make it worth the cost,

Interesting
Interesting book. Trying to learn more about the 15th Air Force as father-in-law was there during WWII. He never talked much about it and now he's gone.

Not recommended money trap
I just received Kevin's A Mhoney book named :I was charged $ 75 with shipping by AmazonNot recommended , money trap ! Excellent book layout, however historically a complete disaster. 95% of photos used are free of charge Tri Fold shots, rest are not updated MACR's stories. He made out of all this a boring book in similar to his previous one " 15th Air Force Against Axis "Worth to mention author keep mispelling target locations ( e.g. Foscani instead Focsani )lots of other errors, no in depth review of the missions, keep confusing lots of Tri Fold photo such as the Lib of 376th BG *Angie the Ox " bombing Bucharest with the Lib of an other 15th AF Bombardement Group etc.etcThe book is aimed at beginners who never heard about 15th AF before and have extra money to waste , didn't interview any vets nor anything you can't read on the Net , etc. stay away ! This shows how some US authors are trying to make bucks misleading the publicwith and this how I ended up wasting my money. This guy is not even a WWII historian nor anything similar , don't buy his stuff !About author Kevin A Mahoney***************************************Kevin earned his Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition at Miami University in 2002 and has been working at Kutztown University since the fall of 2002. Don’t judge the book by the cover. Mostly pictures of B-17’s
The book seemed to reflect mostly of B-17’s rather than the B-24’s of the 15th Air Force. In that regard I was very disappointed in the book.
