I installed it in a 2008 GMC Acadia and yes it was hard to install. I am not sure I want to do it again. I'm pretty handy as an aircraft mechanic but I felt the set up was unusually tedious to install. Lots of wiring to do and the air actuator took a bit of figuring where I could mount it. The cable runs under the carpet and attached with a pulley system to the back of the pedal. When the brake lights on the coach come on, the box pulls the cable thus activating the brakes.
