After that the G2 software was able to find the UPS (in my case on COM7 port), and it is actually pretty nice. So it takes a bit of work to get everything working, but this is a helluva deal. It works with Win 8, but my tablet is only 32. **Q: Does it come with compatible driver for W8-64bit? If not, where do I get the driver from?** A: It comes with a driver compatible with Windows XP through 10 (Including Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, etc) both 32 & 64bit. If the driver included on the CD does not work, Windows usually can install the newest driver on its own (through Windows Update) and the latest is also available from the manufacture's website. **Q: Does this unit work for communication with CNC machines for file transfer and DNC ?** A: It works great with siemens 3n, 880n, and 840d controls for me. I have used win7, win8 and win 10. Comes with driver cd, but windows finds and installs drivers automatically..
