The fish seemed to love it, didn't hear any complaints and every time I grabbed the food they would freak out swimming everywhere waiting. To be fair though, anything that enters the tank they think is food. I have black mollies so I couldn't tell you how well it works for bringing out the colors. It didn't make my water gross and algae filled either. Flakes are a little bigger but they're easy to crush down into a powder.
