This item arrived promptly and was easy to set up. We ran into a problem and contacted the seller, who responded immediately and worked with us to solve our problem. 5 stars for the seller!! Everything is working perfectly, herbs have started to spring up, and we hope to have a functioning herb garden in a matter of weeks! I plan to order more for gifts.

Love the ease and convenience of this system. I needed a seed starter, but with the hot weather, I am letting items grow longer than usual inside. The water funnel and water gauge make this system so easy to maintain on my window sill. I will watch for sales in hope of adding a second one. While the price is comparable to other brands, they are all a bit pricey.

I bought two of these gardens as an experiment to compare mainstream hydroponic systems to off-brand systems. The systems needed to be complete with growing medium/seed pods, a water tank, and adjustable grow light. This system fit the bill and was fairly inexpensive compared to other systems.The packaging was done right! Everything fit inside the water tank nicely and waste was minimal. The only problem I had was separating the grow domes used until seeds have sprouted enough to survive in a lower moisture environment.The space between the grow light and the grow pods surface is only 14 inches--not nearly tall enough to grow fully mature plants. If you are looking for a sprouting system, this is an excellent product for you. I prefer my plants to grow hydroponically through maturity and well into harvest.As a terra garden goes, this fits the bill for root vegetables! The grow light height is not an issue and can accommodate turnips, short variety carrots, onions (even Walla Walla or Vidalia), radishes, etc. Those cannot be grown hydroponically with success.Money well spent on this system. I may need to figure out a way to add a support system for more height on the grow light.

This is a wonderful introduction to hydroponics. The negative I found was it really can’t produce a lot of food items. With six tomato plants we get a grape tomato every few days. I would recommend it for fresh herbs or Short flowers but it is fun. It gave me the desire and confidence to invest in grow tents and lights enabling me to use hydroponics and drastically increase my yield.

Love love love my Grow LED! This is my 2nd one. I’ll use it for dwarf tomatoes all winter. I grow lettuce in the other one. Easy to use and clean! Love it!

The size it's great for my counter, But the timer doesn't work.

Don’t forget this is a seed starter setup. Once my plants reached the dome, I took them out and transplanted in small pots. I cleaned out the water tank, put the small pots in the tank, and am currently using it as just a grow light. I keep the soil moist by manually watering the small pots. Once they get a tad bigger, I can either transplant them to bigger pots or let them stay in the small pots to continually harvest. Remember, this specific garden is a seed starter. I wouldn’t leave my herbs to sit in the water continuously once they reach teenager age. Lol

Use to start seedlings for my Lettuce Grow hydroponic tower, easy to use, low maintenance, works as expected. Would definitely buy again.

I find that seedlings have a difficulty growing because of the shallow water compartment that does not give the roots enough room to expand. The root system of only my Basil herb takes 50% of the basin area. If it was only 2 inches taller it would be perfect
