It appears expensive compared to shop available brands however it is non staining and actually tastes nice. Unlike Corsidyl (which literally burns my mouth) this has a pleasant taste, almost no flavour at all and no nasty stripping of the mouth. I can’t comment on effectiveness except to say the dentist recommended it so that seems the best validation to me. As long as it helps with the healing after an extraction plus bone grafting and stitches, I will be happy. Review: Dentist suggested this mouthwash for gum protection - All good. Yes does taste a bit odd at first but you get used to it. Recommended by my dentist to protect gums and a friend who is dental nurse said it's a good one to use and doesn't stain teeth, like some mouthwashes do. It's a bright, light blue so do be careful and use by the bathroom basin.
