I bought these things for a 1 1/2 year old and the size is a bit big for kids. We use them for snowball fights and pretend food, bottled water and more.

Planning on using as a beard for Santa on a count down to Christmas wall quilt.

The package came with all the air sucked out, like it was vacuum sealed. While this might be great for shipping, it totally ruined the pom poms. They are squished, flat and misshapen. I was hoping they would fluff back up after the package was unsealed, but that did not happen. I had to roll each one in my hand to get it to resemble a pom pom, and even then, they look significantly smaller than the one inch diameter they were supposed to be. I am quite disappointed, since these were for a program I am hosting, but since I spent the money I will have to use them. If they just hadn't vacuum sealed the package I think it would have been a good product.

Great amount for the price, but they do come flat. Thank goodness for Amazon reviews to easily solve the problem…put in a laundry bag, sprayed them with water, and throw it in the dryer on low. Worked perfectly and only had to fix a few by hand.

Arrived vacuum packed and completely squashed. I needed fluffy balls and got 500 pancakes. Completely useless.

They were vacuum packed, so the pom poms were flat. They were not the best quality, so they didn't return to a round shape as desired.
