It clamps onto many different surfaces and it's functionality for camping, boating, and days at all the fields with the kids are endless. Review: Get the clip on for the beach! - Every year we hit the beach-- but keeping our cups out of the hot sand isn't easy. This year-- my hubby ordered the double clip on cup holders from Robocup-- so worth it! These are our favorite thing for the beach now. It clips onto the umbrella--holding our beverages out of the hot sand AND letting us know exactly which spot is ours. We unclip it then clip it onto the handle of our beach bags as we leave. It's so fantastic-- that the beach attendant ordered one for his dad (Got a call-- BEST GIFT EVER), then others who saw is during the week ordered them as well. Do yourself a favor-- just order it! *Only for people who are strong which is good because while it takes some muscle to push open the clip-- it also holds two large iced down beverages to an umbrella pole. Respect that.

I use the RoboCup system on video productions mounted to my Jimmy Jib tripod. Although my tall “sippy cup” fits in the main holder, it made me nervous by how tall and tight it was. I picked up this larger sidecar holder and have been very pleased. Now I don’t have to worry about losing grip on my cup and having a big spill on set.
