So I had to buy a small container at Home depo to finish the job I was working on. **Q: Which hose and connectors are needed?** A: Hi Jeri, This is a "Dual Discharge" pump, meaning that you have the choice of using one discharge and leaving the other capped, or you can take off of both discharges and take water to two different destinations. The first discharge on this pump is an FPT 1.25" fitting. It also comes with a MPT to Barb adapter. If you are using the kind of tubing that fits on a barb fitting, you could use 1.25" tubing and you would not need any adapters. I would recommend using 1.5" or 2" tubing. This would mean that you would need a 1.25" MPT to ... whatever connects to your type and size of tubing. The second discharge on this pump is MPT 1.25" This does not come with any adapter so you would need a 1.25" FPT to whatever size and type of tubing connector you want to use. I hope this is helpful.
