**Q: When i plug the pin part into my boefeng uv 5r it starts to transmit is the spose to happen ?**
A: Confirmed James Lummel's solution. Disabling power management for the "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port" solves the transmit problem.
1. In Device Manager, double click "Ports (COM & LPT)"
2. Double click "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port" then click the "Power Management" tab.
3. Uncheck all the options then click OK.

**Q: Does the software work with Mac**
A: Some of the customer said that they can install the software with MAC, but some can't.You can download the software from Chirp,and it is easy to operate, the programming cable can contact with your computer and work well after you download the software from chirp.If you have any question,just contact us, we are always here for you.
