### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect replacement.
*by J***S on August 16, 2026*

Works perfectly. Quickly recharge two dead batteries.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than original charger.
*by M***. on August 4, 2026*

Works great!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much better than the original charger that came with the B&D tools
*by P***S on April 24, 2019*

This charger is great, it really does charge in one hour or less depending on the battery's charge level. I bought a new 3600mAH NMH 18V battery (non-OEM) on Amazon along with this B&D charger, and they worked very well together. I also used it to recharge my other 3 old NiCd batteries. The indicator on the charger showed that one of them can no longer be charged (fast blinking LED), which is great, so I can put that one aside for recycling. The original cheap charger that came with my B&D tool set does not do that. One detail: do not expect this charger to "recondition" old NiCd batteries as indicated by another reviewer. Although they will fast charge within one hour, they still only last whatever they did before.
