**Q: Do they require anchors for cement block construction?**
A: That's what I use them for.  Just stay 3 inches from the edge of the window or any other corner so you don't crack the block.

**Q: Will it work in wooden frame structure with stukko?**
A: Yes. You probably would want to use a concrete drill bit to go through the stucco and then use a wood drill bit or metal bit after you get through the stucco.  It should work fine.

**Q: Are these used with flat boards or aluminum hurricane shutters?**
A: I used these with 5/8" plywood.  As long as the protective item can be drilled and has sufficient strength to be held by the wing-nuts (i.e., not pulling through the material), any flat medium with proper impact protection from wind-borne objects will work.

**Q: Does some one use this with a 3/4'' plywood ?**
A: Yes, it can be used with 3/4" plywood.
