Thicker thread is harder to get through a normal eye, unless you use a thicker needle with a larger eye, but then you have difficulty getting the needle through, and I have resorted to using pliers. But these self-threading needles alleviate that problem to some extent. However not completely easy to thread. I would recommend these needles, but long delivery time on a slow boat from China. ### ⭐ Neesles too difficult to use. *by A***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2019* I bought these needles because I thought it would make my life easier. However, I found that they were not self-threading. I wished to send them back. Found that they came from China and that I would need to pay the return postage.
