I was a little upset my last pair of Ariat work boots started to come apart until I realized I had been wearing them nearly every day for 2 years. So I guess you could say it was time. These are very similar to my last. When you first get them the leather is a little tight so the fit feels a little tighter on the sides, but as anyone who has bought this style of boot knows, after about 3 days of wear, they loosen up and fit like a glove. Personally, I recommend buying a good boot oil, I get mink oil and treating them right away.
