**Q: How strong are these?  Will they hold a 10' 8x8 upright if anchored into a concrete footing?**
A: I installed 10' 8x8 posts with these, but rather than use concrete anchor bolts I welded a cross piece on the bottom to sink down into the concrete. Our area gets high winds from time to time and I wanted them to be as stable as possible.

**Q: What size of anchor bolts should be used to anchor these to concrete?**
A: There is one hole in the middle of the base. I used a 1/2" x 6" Simpson Titen bolt to anchor the base.
