Review: Excellent Compact Storage Solution- Works with Bowflex Kettlebells - I wanted better organization for my lighter dumbells and set of Bowflex Kettlebells and this rack has lived up to my expectations. Is it perfect? No, but in execution of what I hoped it would provide organization-wise-yes. Negatives first: One of the panels was missing a predrilled hole near a corner junction. If not for the fact I have a drill press and proper drill bits this would not have been an easy hole to drill in this location through this material. Also, if I had not been able the drill the hole at the exact location needed, assembly would have been impossible and the rack would have been returned. I did not appreciate having to use significantly more of my time and expertise to assemble this item because of a factory error. It was a pain, I think most people would have returned the item. Next, the rubber sleeves that mount on the side racks to cradle and protect the dumbells/dumbell grips easily slip off and can be easy to lose. It would be nice if an extra step was taken at the factory to glue these to the racks. Lastly, as many reviewers have mentioned the racks will not hold all dumbells, especially the fully overmolded ones. Mine fit great and seat in the racks properly but I had a good idea they would based on previous reviews of this item. For the good: I really like the small footprint and the extra sorge in the middle. I was hoping that there was enough room in the middle top and bottom tray to store my Boxflex Kettlebells. They fit, but it's a tight fit lifting out the one on the bottom tray. It would be great if CAP included the internal dimensions of the tray since kettlebells come in all shapes and sizes and some just may not fit. Bottom line, I'm glad I bought this particular dumbell storgae soloution, it is very sturdy and stable and will hold much, much, more than I use it for. It looks and functions like a quality piece of home gym kit. ***Pro Tip*** During assembly leave everything just a little loose until you have all the pieces put together then start fully tightening while sitting on a flat surface otherwise your rack may not sit flush to ground and could wobble.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Compact Storage Solution- Works with Bowflex Kettlebells

I wanted better organization for my lighter dumbells and set of Bowflex Kettlebells and this rack has lived up to my expectations. Is it perfect? No, but in execution of what I hoped it would provide organization-wise-yes. Negatives first: One of the panels was missing a predrilled hole near a corner junction. If not for the fact I have a drill press and proper drill bits this would not have been an easy hole to drill in this location through this material. This weight rack is the best of both worlds. It can hold four sets of weights on the sides, plus it has two adequately-sized shelves for weight plates, neoprene dumbbells, resistance bands or other small to medium-sized equipment. Although, it’s not the easiest to put together, once it’s built, it’s super sleek, compact, and nicely complements a workout area. If you are looking to purchase it, keep in mind it will take two people to assemble the rack. I love that it keeps my weights up off the floor without taking up a lot of space in my fitness area. I would highly recommend this weight rack to anyone who is looking for a storage system that can hold more than dumbbells.

I'm not unhappy with the product, just disappointed that it's not better designed to handle a wider variety of dumbbell types. If you have weights that fit, it's near perfect. If you don't, it might be a tough choice to decide to keep or return. The good: Nice looking, easy to assemble stand. It doesn't take up a lot of space and will allow you to store more than just dumbbells. I have a kettle bell and some bands and ab wheel on the shelves. This is a big improvement in keeping things that used to be lined up on a wall better organized. This stand give more flexibility than the A-frame dumbbell stand I was going to get. Probably best for dumbbells 30# or less. The bad: Can't fit my 40# & 30# kettlebells on the bottom shelf, it's just a little to small, but this is not a deal breaker. I don't feel safe with the 30# on the top because mine is on some more plush carpet and it just feels too wobbly, even with almost 80# total at the base. If it was a hard surface, I'd probably feel better. Most disappointing is that the dumbbell holders are really designed for dumbbells without coating (foam, silicone, et.). over the bar The holders are really best for Hex style or non-coated dumbbells. CAP seems to have designed this assuming you are only going to buy their dumbbells. Seems that with small modifications to the design they could have a more flexible stand. The product is good, almost great, and not amazing. The 4 star rating is me being a little bit generous. I also see some bubbling in the shelf pieces coating as others have mentioned, looks like a quality control issue, but I'm not too worried about. My recommendation is that if you have bare or rubber-coated end hex weights plus some other gear, this would be a great option. If you want to used fully coated weights, double check to see if they will fit the holders. Look at some of the photos posted here where people have had success and failure. My lighter weights, that have full coating, can be jammed in enough I'll live with it. With heavier weights (more than 10#) I would't risk it. I can live with the flaws in the design and might just buy some new weights over time. I prefer hex anyway.
