I plan on staining it to match my flooring. Lightweight too. Very easy to assemble, took me about ten minutes. Very sturdy and very much worth the price. Included a close up of the wood grain just for detail. Review: Gorgeous - Really high quality solid wood table - not any of that MDF stuff you can tell it’s for real just from the weight. Set up was a breeze, did it alone in less than 20 minutes. The provided hardware was VERY high quality. The color is extra gorgeous in person, more of a neutral champagne-y than the honey oak the picture has. It’s exact to the measurements provided, and the swing out aspect is easy and very very stable. I have already had multiple guests over with it and everyone loves the versatility and the height of the table. At a great height where with a shorter chair it’s a perfect card table for slouching and drinking, but it’s comfortable for eating with a dining height seat. ## Features - Solid Wood - 42-inch round drop-leaf table with beveled top edge and tapered legs - solid/composite wood with casual Light Oak finish - Fold out one or two leaves for space-efficient use; crossbars collapse for easy, compact storage - Assembly required - Measures 42-inch in diameter by 29-1/2-inch high ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000Y1W8GE | | Additional Features | Convertible, Flip Top, Foldable, Space Saving, Storage | | Assembly Instructions Description | Assembly required. Kitchen is so tiny no regular dining table would fit. The family drops the "leaves" after the meal, and it sits tidily under a window at only 10-12" wide. The two chairs are sturdy enough, fit okay at the side of the folded table. Mom opens only one leaf when she is fixing lunches, handing out snacks as kids rush by to the door. Big enough surface with both sides folded to serve as "drop off" place that we all have to put up with in a kitchen: lunch bags, mail, grocery bag. A table and 2 matching chairs for $200 + a little bit? We thought we did well. bbj **Q: What is the height from the floor to the underside of the top?** A: I think it's slightly less than 28 inches. The leg struts that also hold the table top flat jut down about three inches from the underside of the table top, but don't get in my way. **Q: Can table be painted?** A: Not sure. It has a light finish - some kind of clear - shellac or something. I would imagine that a light sandpaper treatment would be enough to prepare the table for paint! Good luck! We LOVE this table! **Q: how well does the finish hold up?** A: Holds up very nicely. I do use place mats or table cloths when using. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made and worth the price *by G***. on June 4, 2025* Great solid table. Very classic design. Could be sturdier and there was one hole that was drilled improperly so one of the screws couldn't be screwed in (thus the wobbliness), but the aesthetic quality of the table was so great that we used it in a commercial for a Kickstarter project. You can see the table in the video that we shot (it's extremely high res so you can see the grain quality of the wood - lovely!!!). Here's the link to the video: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tangibleinstruments/arpeggio-the-portable-arpeggiator-sequencer-and-sy I would absolutely buy it again. The convenience of folding it away is great too. ## Frequently Bought Together - Winsome Hannah Dining, 42"W x 29.5"H x 42"D, Light Oak - Winsome Wood Ladder Back Chair, Light Oak, 2 Pieces (34232), FURNITURE --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/1240682-winsome-hannah-double-drop-leaf-dining-table-light-oak-29](https://www.desertcart.co.ke/products/1240682-winsome-hannah-double-drop-leaf-dining-table-light-oak-29) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kenya* *Store origin: KE* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
