Fit just like the original one east to install just need a 15mm socket or a wrench.

this does not fit 2500hd tire
very easy to install, unfortunately this will not work for a 2500hd

Pay attention to lug count
I have an HD truck so I had to go with this model, make sure to check the model against how many lugs are on the axel. It is by far the best price I have come across and the quality seems great. It hoisted up the tire with no problem and has held it in place ever since.

Great fit but not right
Easily installed. Had trouble with the wheel fitting but was able to get it up. Forward 9 months and no spare.It came off. My fault. I should have checked closer but this is for a 5 or 6 lug rim. 924-502 is for a 8 lug. Even though it does not list fitting a 2000 Silverado 2500 4x4 it does fit.

uses the 5.8 inch bracket,
uses the 5.8 inch bracket, will not fit thru hole of the 6 bolt rims, they are 4.5 inches wide.looked well built so I gave stars for that but could not actually test.

Camper spare tire rack
I took this tire support and mounted under my pull behind camper. It has worked great. I have made it from Texas to North Carolina with no issues with the unit and yes I did have a blow out and had to replace it with my spare. Unit worked great.
