We thank you for your interest in Garnier! **Q: is this hairspray able to be brushed out each night to keep from adding layers of it?** A: I wouldn't try this with the Extreme Hold. It's pretty stiff and would pull fairly hard on your hair. I would try this with one of the lower levels like a 3 or a 4, but not the Extreme Hold level 5. I actually use it because it holds my hair in place pretty well overnight. I only have to do a minimum of combing the next morning and maybe add a touch-up of spray. However, I have oily hair and scalp, so have to wash every 2-3 days and don't have to worry about too much hairspray build-up.
